Tēla Sourcing reaches an agreement with a regional TPA to provide adjudication services.

BALTIMORE and Pune — Tēla Sourcing announced today that it has reached a definitive agreement to provide offshore claims adjudication services for a large regional TPA in the Northeast. The client currently manages more than 100,000 lives and has seen its claims volume consistently built up over the last few months. The use of offshore resources was a strategic decision by the TPA to bring its costs under control and make it more competitive in the marketplace.

The services will be provided on LuminX platform remotely using offshore resources. The TPA is currently providing extensive training to Tēla staff and expects to start utilizing offshore services beginning April 2005. The TPA expects to achieve significant cost savings besides helping it in bringing its backlog under control and improving the quality and efficiency of its adjudication process.
