Tēla Sourcing Starts the New Year by Signing a Contract to Provide Claims Processing for a Subsidiary of United Health Group.

BALTIMORE and Pune— Tēla Sourcing today announced that it has singed a definitive agreement to provide offshore claims processing services for one of the largest TPA in the country and a wholly owned subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group.

The pilot project was completed in December 2004 and Tēla started processing claims beginning January 3, 2005. The services will be provided on RIMS platform (Trizetto) and will initially focus on processing dental claims.

Tēla delivers a combination of price-based claims processing functions and comprehensive value-added business process outsourcing (BPO) services tailored to a customer’s unique needs.
