Mitigating the risk of offshore outsourcing.

 

Despite recent momentum toward offshore business process outsourcing (BPO), many healthcare executives have concerns about how this practice will impact their organizations. Concerns range from the risk to patient privacy, compromised security, maintaining regulatory compliance and general loss of control over their businesses. However, the advantages gained by outsourcing non-core business processes are too great to ignore especially when faced with competitive pressures in an uncertain economy. Tēla has developed a methodology to migrate business processes from U.S. health plans to our offshore delivery center in India, alleviating fear and mitigating the risk of offshore BPO.
